New Christine will likely skirt certain cancellation again this fall. If CBS opts out, ABC is apparently standing by ready to pick the show up as a fall back plan. Couldn't they do this for a show that we care about? Like Chuck (if NBC axes it) or you know, just save their good shows like Pushing Daisies? Just a thought.

I'm pretty sure this is one of the signs of the apocalypse. Someone decided that Samantha Harris could do something besides annoy contestants backstage at Dancing With the Stars. She'll be filling in for Meredith Vieira for a week on the daytime Who Wants to be a Millionaire, giving me even less reason to watch that show.

Another sign of the apocalypse? Constantine Maroulis got nominated for a Tony Award. Yup. Apparently they'll just give those out to anyone nowadays.

You'll all have to wait a little bit longer for your Mad Men fix. The show won't be coming back until August, instead of the expected July return date. But when it does come back, there'll be a new face at Sterling Cooper. One that looks a lot like Jared Harris from Fringe and The Riches.

Funnyman Dom Deluise died today, and Zach pays tribute to his favorite DeLuise film over in Moviefile.
