You know who's free at last? T.R. Knight. For real this time! And that paragon of investigative journalism Perez Hilton is claiming there's going to be a Buffy animated series, which means it must be Thursday.
Some guy on the internet is saying that his friend told him he got a job on an upcoming animated Buffy series, and that Joss is involved, and Perez picked it up, so now it's a thing. And hey, I'm on the internet, and I'm claiming that monkeys might fly out of my butt and that Tammy Faye Baker's petrified eyelashes are involved. Doesn't make it so.
Speaking of people just saying crap, Maggie Grace told some reporters that she's visiting Hawaii soon, and everyone's like "OMG that means Shannon's totally coming back to Lost!" I'm not saying she's not -- she very well could be, in a flashback, hallucination or an 815-never-crashed capacity, but people go to Hawaii all the time, people. It's a nice place to vacation! Chill it on out.
Hallelujah, Shonda has finally come to a decision regarding T.R. Knight: she's letting the long-suffering lad go. George will not be returning to Grey's next season. For real. It's over. Our long national nightmare of "He's leaving!" "No he's not!" "He's leaving!" "No he's not!" is officially and finally over, and now he's going to Broadway! Yay, Broadway! Still no word on Heigl, but I am so at peace over this T.R. Knight thing being resolved I don't care that much.
Jon and Kate Gosselin have some "big announcement" to reveal during a special one-hour episode on Monday. Some people think it's divorce (finally!), some people think it's merely couples therapy, like there's any chance at saving that dead dead dead relationship, but hey, I guess I can't blame them for trying. They're going to fail, but I suppose it's nice to try.
Brian Austin Green pulled out of a guest stint on One Tree Hill because he was embarrassed to be on that show, so naturally he's guesting on Smallville instead because of how Smallville is like Mad Men, but smarter and better-acted and not at all embarrassing to be on. Makes sense.
And finally, David Archuleta's dad likes hookers. Who doesn't?

I think the Jon and Kate "crisis" is that their ratings are in the toilet and the "special episode" is a very obvious ploy to raise them again. Whatever.
Wow! Monkey's fly out of your butt? How interesting. Too bad you are not culturally aware enough to know that Scott Allie of DarkHorse actually announced this project in December. So our scoop, as it turns out, isn't much of a scoop, and your snark is, well, as empty as snark can be. ;) (http://whedonesque.com/comments/18448)
