Reality shows, drama shows and remakes galore! (OK, there's only one remake mentioned in today's news.) Two TV stars (one reality, one drama) are starring in an 1984 remake, and one possible reality TV show is in the talks, to be hosted by an unlikely couple. Confused yet? Keep reading.
It's pretty rare to see a reality TV star migrate over to the big screen. So it's a big deal that Dancing With the Stars' Julianne Hough will star in the Footloose remake as her feature film debut... sans that douchebag of a boyfriend. The only glimmer of hope I had for the remake was the chance to see pretty boy Zac Efron do his thing, but now that Gossip Girl Chace Crawford pushed him out of the picture, I don't know how the movie will fare. Did anyone else know Chace could sing and dance?
Zach Braff, who plays J.D. on Scrubs will no longer be a regular, but rather, a guest appearance. That's not all. The ninth season of Scrubs will undergo an extreme makeover -- transforming the beloved Sacred Heart hospital setting into a classroom where Dr. Cox and Turk will play med school professors. Whaat?!
There are rumors ablazin' about what the big Jon & Kate announcement will be tonight. Publicity stunt? I think yes. What is not taming the gossip is that Jon was seen alone on Father's Day and had "no idea" where his Victoria-Beckham-wannabe wife was. Good thing Jon wasn't alone to stew in misery of his soon-to-be-failed marriage. That's what eight kids are for. Or in Ryan Reynolds' eyes, it could also mean potential for a musical.
Speaking of reality shows, Lindsay Lohan is finally doing something with her life other than mulling over what went wrong with her ex-gf. She and Ryan Seacrest are teaming up to start a "meaningful" reality show that would give a contestant $1 million to turn his or her life around.
After placing second in Britain's Got Talent, Susan Boyle and her renowned singing is crossing the Atlantic and performing on the upcoming season of America's Got Talent. Ah yes, I see a promising career and international stardom in her future.

That Ryan Reynolds quote about J&K+8 made me laugh out loud, then feel a little bad about it.
Hey, Andrea, you put TR Knight, Katherine Heigl, and Grey's tags in this post but didn't have any news about them.
You know, somehow I see a glorious opportunity in a Jon&Kate+8 musical to insert the Cell Block Tango from Chicago.
Crawford didn't force Zefron out. He didn't want to make it.
