Remember when MTV was "music television" and featured music videos? Well, for now, the music will stay in the past because MTV just green lit eight new TV series -- one of them being a scripted drama series based on the '80s movie Teen Wolf. Move over Edward Cullen, werewolves are taking the spotlight.

But don't worry, MTV hasn't forgotten about reality TV. Since LC severed ties with The Hills and Whitney has her own spin off The City, who else's life could they possible invade next? Audrina Patridge gets her own series. No longer will she be under someone else's shadow! Just what we didn't need.

And since ABC doesn't want to be left out, the network has picked up six episodes of a relationship reality show: Find My Family. The show follows people in desperate search for a long-lost relative, friend or love. All together now, everyone say, "aww." I feel like this one will be a tearjerker with all those emotions flying left and right on screen. Make sure you have a box of tissues next to you.

It seems like Sam's ex-girlfriend Jessica will be raising from the dead (she was killed by the evil yellow-eyed demon in the pilot for all who can't seem to remember that far back). Adrianne Palicki returns as Jessica for an episode in the next season, but as a flashback or ... as something else...will remain to be seen.

Actress and former Deal or No Deal model Meghan Markle is joining the cast of Fringe as an "attractive, brash and quick-witted junior FBI agent" in the upcoming season. What better way to replace ex-agent Charlie Francis than to cast a leggy model. Kirk Acevedo who played Charlie was fired as a cost-cutting measure. Cost-cutting indeed.

And adding on to all the other Jon and Kate news circling the World Wide Web, Jon & Kate Plus 8 is going on hiatus to let the family "regroup" following the news of their separation. Finally! That family just needs to get off the air. What they all really need is some therapy.
