The Bacon-Sedgwick clan finally found a solution to make up for all those family dinners they've missed! Daughter Sosie Bacon will guest as Kyra Sedgwick's niece on The Closer for four episodes, the last of which will be directed by Papa Kevin! Sure, I'm achin' for Bacon and may be a little biased, but seriously, this is the cutest!

FX is broadening its horizons and picking up its first animated series, a comedy entitled Archer set to air this fall. The show is a spoof on the James Bond spy world, and is aimed at the fans of network favorite It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia.

So we know that Ryan Seacrest is now the $45-million man, and now we know that Simon Cowell is not, I repeat, not the $144-million man -- though that does at least seem slightly more warranted. Simon dispelled rumors that he's contracted with American Idol for this hefty sum.

Remember that time Richard Hatch didn't pay taxes on his $1 million Survivor earnings and had to go to jail for three years? Yeah, that was a bitch. Well now a federal judge ruled that Hatch is not permitted to leave home confinement early to star in the 10th anniversary edition of the show. And this is why reality stars shouldn't bother trying to stick it to the man.

Apparently the British Orthodontic Society is pissed that Ugly Betty is still wearing braces, because it's unrealistic (most adults don't wear "train track" braces, especially for more than two years) and it gives the metal mouth a bad rap (braces don't make you ugly and stupid!). I have to side with the BOS on this one, just because of the catastrophe that could occur should all Brits decide not to seek corrective dental treatment.
