Fans of John Goodman from Roseanne, The West Wing or any of his non-TV projects will be happy to hear that Goodman is filming a new Fox TV pilot called The Station, about a covert CIA outpost in South America tasked with installing a new dictator. Sounds like a compelling drama, right? Wrong -- it's a comedy. The operatives (including Human Giant's Rob Huebel) are apparently less than crack, David Wain is directing the pilot and it comes from Ben Stiller's production company.

NBC has picked up the Italian-Mexican-American co-production Persons Unknown, about strangers imprisoned in a ghost town. It was previously being developed for Syfy and it stars Alan Ruck (Spin City), which sounds promising, but it comes from the same company that brought us Mental. Hmm.

The good news: Futurama is coming back to Comedy Central with new episodes. The bad news: they may be trying to replace the excellent voice cast to save money. Casting notices have supposedly gone out for characters played by Katey Sagal (Leela), John DiMaggio (Bender), Maurice LaMarche (Kif/Morbo) and Billy West (Fry), which would pretty much make new episodes worthless.

If you don't want your kids' shows to get mixed up with golf, you may want to ban Cartoon Network in your house. The network has reportedly teamed up with the PGA to promote golf on-air through contests, "public service announcements" and possibly new golf-related content. Here's an idea: Spongebob Plaidpants.

Real New York housewife Bethenny Frankel's new solo show, Skinny and the City, may have to change its name, since there's already a Website by that name. Who would have thought that two different people could come up with such a stupid, stupid name?
