2009 Emmys: Winners List

2009 Emmys: Winners List Happy Emmy night, everybody! To keep us all on the same page, I'll be updating the winners right here continuously during the show, so everybody get together in the comments and cheer and rail against the results as the night goes on. It takes a village to bitch about Tony Shalhoub, after all. Nobody's expecting very many surprises this year, but you never know. Something horrible could happen -- Entourage is nominated for many awards. In any case, power to the NPH! At the very least the hosting duties will not be terrible, which is already an enormous upgrade from last year's show. Goodnight and good luck in your Emmy pools!

i'm bummed for NPH (especially considering to whom he lost) and that the conchords didn't get any love.

No Generation Kill? Boo, it was robbed, as was Michael C. Hall & NPH! Yay for Michael Emmerson, he is great in Lost!

I know a lot of people were rooting for Wiig, but I was really happy that Chenowith won. Pushing Daisies deserves a little belated love.

Lots of nice surprises: Chenowith for the win! Michael Emerson gives a non-creepy speech! Bob Newhart! Much MUCH better than last year. I credit NPH.
