Katherine Heigl is a baby-blocker, and Jim Breuer is bogarting that ex-SNLer sitcom money. And America loves NCIS shows. Who knew! Oh, yeah -- everybody knew.

Ellen Pompeo announced the birth of her daughter, Stella Luna yesterday. Katherine Heigl coincidentally appeared on the cover of People magazine with her newly adopted daughter on the same day. Good one, Heigl.

A sitcom based on comedian Jim Breuer's life is in development at NBC. This is only further proof that female Saturday Night Live alums are doomed for obscurity, while the guy who played Goat Boy will always have job security. I shed a single tear for Cheri Oteri.

The CW will premiere a reality show called Fly Girls that will follow the lives of flight attendants working for Virgin America. No word yet on whether the ladies will perform hip hop dance interludes in between beverage services.

Samantha Ronson and Pharell will guest star on an episode of 90210. Ronson will stretch her acting abilities by playing a DJ who doles out some love advice.

Fox is looking tobuy Simon Cowell's show The X Factor and create an American version. Yes! We need more singing competitions!

NCIS: Los Angeles had the largest opening night ratings for a scripted series premiere since CSI:NY in 2004. LL Cool J and Chris O'Donnell are doin' it well.

Unless Ellen Pompeo called Katherine Heigl as soon as the cord was cut and told her the date her publicist planned to release the news to the media (which, serendipitously, happened to be the very same day of the week new issues of People magazine hit newsstands), it's not logically feasible Pompeo's pending announcement motivated People magazine to aid Heigl in upstaging it. Good one, Heather.

Wow, the Heigl-hate at this site is bordering on ridiculous. Has she murdered kittens or something? Congratulations to both Ellen and Katherine.

Did Katherine Heigl steal your collective boyfriends or something in high school? Because seriously, it must have been something bad to cause the extreme hate she engenders here. I was never even that much of a fan until you all started ripping her to shreds for God knows what reason. And I have to say that trashing her for publicizing the adoption of a special-needs child is kind of sick.

Um... Could it be because she acts like a spoiled princess, has a career based on her looks instead any modicum of talent, and is really just awful?

Um...no one finds it MORE suspicious that Ellen Pompeo made the announcement on the same day People hit the racks? One requires advance preperation, the other doesn't...
