Today's TWoP News: October 30, 2009 Someone chased Seacrest with a knife! I'm not even joking!

Wait what? Someone was stalking Ryan Seacrest? For why? And his name isn't Simon Cowell? So much confusion.

In news that doesn't really surprise anyone, Project Runway is doing less than gangbusters at Lifetime, (though, to be fair, that has to be at least partially due to the boring casting this season), while Bravo is thriving without it, because people will make it their business to watch tacky women yell at each other no matter what city they're in, as it turns out.

Ooh, delicious rumor mill, would that I could wish you true! According to the New York Post (I know, but hear me out), NBC is pressuring the Heroes producers to wrap up the show for good in May. Post, don't toy with me, you minx.

American Dad got renewed through 2011? Oh... kay.

And in buzzkill news, Dennis Hopper has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. No prognosis has been released publicly, which is worrisome, so I think I speak for all of us when I say stab that cancer with a pair of scissors, Frank Booth!
