More celebrity drug scandals! We don't usually gossip like this, but when stars actually go to jail, we take notice. Plus, Adam Lambert news!

Not only is the winner of Big Brother 9 an idiot, so is Sam Jones, a.k.a. Pete from Smallville who was busted as part of a conspiracy to distribute mass amounts of oxycodone. He faces up to 20 years in jail, but it'll probably be a cake walk compared to three years on Smallville.

Full seasons have been picked up for The Vampire Diaries, Melrose Place and Castle. Let's hear it for the continued employment of Nathan Fillion.

In a move that counters the lameness of his latest music video being mostly disaster footage from 2012, American Idol runner-up Adam Lambert has recorded a song written by Lady Gaga. Pre-sales of the CD have already gone chrome.

New York's Governor Paterson wants to come on Saturday Night Live, where he is constantly mimicked by Fred Armisen. As long as they "accidentally" let him wander in front of one of the cameras at some point, we'd stay up to watch that.

The Weather Channel will start showing movies on their network, with a weather scroll running underneath them at all times. Unfortunately, it's the weather report for the movie you're watching, not for your area. But if you ever wanted to know the specific temperature of Goodfellas, you're all set.

ADAM's video is certainly not LAME by any stretch of the imagination. Is that why it has almost 200K views on myspace since its debut shortly after midnight? Have you even seen the video? It is beautifully done and ADAM's vocals are SUPERB!! I can't wait to see the movie! Lame *** INDEED!!!

The only thing more lame than Adam's video is the song itself! Seriously, it's just crap. I like Adam and vocally he sounds fine, but the song itself is no better than "No Boundries". I loved him on Idol, but if this is the kind of crap he's going to be putting out, I'm certainly not buying it. Yes, I realize this is for a soundtrack, so it may not represent what he's going to put on his cd, but he's not off to a good start. Just my honest opinion.

I was definitely on Team Lambert for AI, but the 2012 song sucks. He sounds good singing it, but the lyrics and video are beyond lame. It's like a Hallmark "Sorry Your Planet Got All Blowed Up" card.

Oh Sam. I don't have the heart to snark. How disappointing and sad. The start of the Smallville curse?

On a happier note: Yay Castle. Time to start crossing my fingers for a renewal.
