Today's TWoP News: November 17, 2009

Today's TWoP News: November 17, 2009 Will Arnett is popping up on a new primetime sitcom soon. Yes, it's the one you'd assume it is.

Will Arnett will be guesting on Parks & Recreation for one episode in January, which should be pretty good, as long as he doesn't consume the entire episode like Fred Armisen did. Also helpful? If he called his wife "Blamey" like he did on Arrested Development. That was funny.

Justin Theroux will also be showing up on Parks & Rec in a recurring role, and you'd think I'd have a problem with that, but he's actually very funny and handsome and I think it's going to be great. Surprise!

Zach Galifianakis's new "Between Two Ferns" does a great job criticizing how old Conan's go-to "I'm pasty!" jokes have become. This might be my favorite "Between Two Ferns" yet.

Orlando Jones is coming onto House to play Foreman's brother, so, great, that just means more Foreman storylines. And if you're as burned as I am about Jennifer Morrison's exit last night, Aussiello's interview with her won't make you feel any better, as she is the most tight-lipped woman alive, but she did say she's being paid for the rest of the season as severance. That's kind of nice, I guess.

Hey, Whitney Houston's going to sing on Dancing with the Stars. I'd rather she talked and danced her crazy out before me, but singing is entertaining, too.

If you refused to believe any Twitter rumors yesterday that Remote Control and Make Me Laugh host Ken Ober died suddenly at the age of 52, sadly, those rumors have been confirmed to be true. That kind of thing just makes me want to believe everything I read.

And this is just immensely satisfying -- some hard-working soul has compiled the 100 greatest Wire quotes for our Youtube enjoyment. Yes, Omar's infamous, glorious court scene is in there. And "Where the fuck is Wallace, String?!" just made me cry all over again. Fun!

So Whitney Houston is too good for Glee, but not above appearing on American Idol? WTF?
