FlashForward is in a little mini time out, but it's nothing compared to what Fox is putting Fringe through.
Good Morning America is afraid Adam Lambert will get some crazy early morning revenge on ABC by mimicking blowjobs yet again, on their show this time, so they've canceled his upcoming performance. But don't despair, The Early Show (whatever that is) has scooped him up instead. I'd really like to stop discussing this Glambie AMA performance non-scandal now.
Paula Abdul thinks she has what it takes to be the next Oprah, and that her talk show hosting abilities include, among many things, being insightful, and being able to "jam" with "the band." The mind of Paula Abdul: a magical place to visit.
USA has made an unsurprising, yet still highly awesome move, and renewed both the gangbusters that is Burn Notice, as well as the very enjoyable Psych. Yay for good shows living to fight the good fight. Well, mostly yay for cable.
Some non-revealing, but still fun, set photos from the new 24 season were released today. Yes, they feature both Starbuck and Freddie Prinze Jr., plus a bonus one of Jack crouching on the hood of a car pointing a firearm at you, the driver of said car. Classic Jack!
If you haven't been exactly thrilled with the writing on FlashForward (because it's boring, and largely terrible most of the time), I guess you can pick your hopes up a teeny tiny bit. ABC just imposed a six day hiatus on production solely to help the writing improve. Not sure how they're accomplishing that in six days, but I admire the effort.
Unsurprisingly, Fox continues to murder Fringe by taking my favorite guilty pleasure off the air for seven weeks next year to make room for their new show Past-Life. Sigh.
And everybody already knows this, but Lisa Edelstein is delightful.

I've enjoyed Flashforward, but there is certainyl room for improvement, so this sounds like good news I guess. Shame about Fringe though.
Yeah, I like FlashForward too. Don't understand all the bashing, but as kieran said, there is always room for improvement.
I tried watching Flash Forward the first two weeks but lost interest. I had high hopes for it but sadly it turned out to be a snoozefest. It's way too serious for a show with such an implausible storyline. Entertainment factor = zero.
Flash Forward is taking too long to go forward. I am already sick of the marital problems, the alcoholism, and the father/daughter angle. More Dominic Monaghan and John Cho please.
Figures Fox is screwing Fringe. And not in any good way.
FlashForward is patchy. I've found that I most enjoy the episodes in which someone is harmed. (That doesn't include the pained interactions between Olivia and Commodore Norrington.)
But a card game to decide anything important? Seriously?
Gotta agree with Jim - enough with the Mark/Olivia/Lloyd triangle and the father/soldier daughter bs. More Dominic and John Cho.
