Law & Order is taking on David Letterman, the days of Numbers may be numbered (see what I did there?) and Hollywood nepotism is alive and well.
Another Law & Order "Ripped from the Headlines" episode is in the works. The subject of fodder? David Letterman and the public revelation of his affairs. In this version, a female TV host will come into scandal after it is revealed she's been sleeping with a much younger female employee.
CBS is crunching some Numbers. (There I go again.) The procedural crime drama is having its 6th season cut from a full order of 22 episodes to 16 episodes. Could this be the end for David Krumholtz? Nah, he'll always get work. I'm more worried about the other guy.
Don Cheadle's production company, Crescendo, has made multiple production deals with multiple networks. So far, a Boston cop drama that will air on NBC and an adaptation of The Star Chamber (The 1983 Michael Douglas movie about a vigilante judge.) for FX are a go.
FX is developing a Missouri-set, post-Civil War western called Reconstruction. It will be about a character named Jason, "a proper East Coast gentleman who returns from the war a changed man and seeks refuge in the border state." Was Jason a popular name in the late nineteenth century? Well, it's Biblical.
Meryl Streep's daughter Grace Gummer will star with Joe Mantegna's daughter, Gia, on a new series for TeenNick about growing up among the LA elite. Man, it sounds like such a stretch for someone that had to grow up as Meryl Streep's daughter.
TLC is moving in on that sweet wedding cash cow. I guess they need to do something after the Jon & Kate debacle. TLC has four wedding-themed shows in the works, including one about the famous Chapel of the Flowers on the Las Vegas Strip.

Numbers hasn't been good this sesaon - the whole Larry is depressed storyline was BORING
Nepotism is rampant in Hollywood - why do you think Emma Roberts is acting? Talent? HA!
I like Emma Roberts. She has more talent than most of the other teeny boppers around nowadays. And she's just so darn cute!
Hello,
I have already seen it somethere...
