Colin Hanks has joined the cast of Fox's Jack & Dan, the buddy-cop show co-starring Bradley Whitford. Hanks is the by-the-book one who's at a dead end, professionally, and Whitford is the drunk who only has a job because he was a hero once. Described as an action comedy like Burn Notice, we expect this to be our new favorite show.

Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin have been chosen to co-host the Oscars on ABC. The Academy Awards ceremony will air in March, three months after they co-star in It's Complicated. They were the Academy's third choice, behind Tina Fey (who was too busy) and Ben Stiller and Robert Downey Jr. (who actually have a chance of winning awards).

While everybody was panicking that 30 Rock had premiered to low ratings in Germany, no one noticed that it was the digital cable premiere of the German-dubbed version.
