“Chaos in Gotham” is a one-hour comedy-drama series that addresses the fears of security in a “New Millennium” environment. The TV pilot and subsequent twelve episodes bounce comedy off of the unsettling political issues surrounding national security and cultural bias. Actress Karen Teune plays the role of “Brittany Winchester,” a modern American woman who unknowingly opens the door for a budding self-styled terrorist cell to develop in NYC.

These anxieties are drawn upon a canvas of intentional blindness, which serves a backdrop for the façade for Western society’s current societal outlook. The array of nationalities existent within the cast of thirty actors will appeal to a wide audience.
Filmed in the most culturally diverse city in the world, New York City, “Chaos in Gotham” captures many of the city’s well known sights which were taken from the air. With the struggle to find a balance between justice when dealing with terrorism, maintenance of human rights and the impact of cultural biases, TV series and films concerning these factors have become increasingly prominent. “Chaos in Gotham” centers on these sensitive issues and entices viewers with its unique production design and comic relief.
