I'm sick of futilely kicking Heroes while it's down, for the moment, and since it's a holiday week for us Americans, I thought I'd point out something the show actually did well for once. If you saw last night's episode you know that the Bennet modern family Thanksgiving was one of the most unironically enjoyable scenes on the show in years. No exaggeration there - I honestly haven't unabashedly enjoyed a few minutes of Heroes that much in literally years. So in honor of cranberry sauce and pumpkin beer, I'd like to publicly declare that I am thankful for whoever wrote this scene, HRG, Sandra, Sandra's new foppish boyfriend, Claire's awesome and very funny facial expressions, surprisingly, and, even more surprisingly, Elisabeth Rohm, who is a much better actress on this show than she ever has been on any other.
