Things have been so crazy lately, I don't even know what a "slow news day" is anymore. Sounds like an urban legend, if you ask me.

TWoP 10: Biggest Reality TV Famewhores

Recently, Daniel Franco, who already had two chances at Project Runway (two too many, if you ask us) got another shot at reality TV by appearing as the self-described lovechild of Susan Boyle and Adam Lambert on American Idol. Really, some people just don't know when to quit. However, he did inspire us to look back at the desperate, pathetic famewhores who make his two brief runs at reality TV look practically lazy by comparison.

Live for the Moment: Live Like Your TV Show Depended On It

I'm really surprised that this show was only done as a one-off special. It's basically Extreme Makeover Home Edition meets The Amazing Race with the bedimpled Jeff Probst hosting the whole thing. It's got "tearjerking family viewing" written all over it. Put it on Sunday nights when people are looking for something feel-good to watch together and I'm sure it would do gangbusters.

You will not believe how much TV news there is today! Think of this as your reward for missing all of your Wednesday shows so that you could watch the State of the Union.

Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte on Peyton Manning's Greatness, Contractual Obligations and How Much Money They Made Off Charles Barkley It's SNL seasonal clip show time! This time around, in honor of the timeliness of the Winter Olympics and the Super Bowl, NBC will be airing SNL Presents: Sports All-Stars this Sunday at 9 PM. Like the Gilly Christmas special, this one will be hosted by two divisive SNL characters, Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte's ESPN/Summer's Eve commentators Twinkle and Stink, and will feature what Lorne Michaels deems the best sketches in the show's sports-themed canon. How good he is at that is a whole 'nother matter, but what's important is that I jumped on a conference call with Jason Sudeikis and Will Forte to hear what the charming lads had to say about the special. And well, they're funny. Enjoy the highlights after the jump.

Today's news is best enjoyed to the tune of War's "Why Can't We Be Friends?" People may only be reuniting because of money and contract obligations, but the important thing is that we stay one big happy family, at least until Lost comes back on Tuesday. Do whatever you want after that; the rest of the world will be too busy to care about your paycheck.

Glee: How to Survive the Show's Long Hiatus

If, like us, you have practically worn out your Glee DVD, already have all of the downloads on a constant loop on your iPod and yet still can't stop thinking about the show, we've come up with some suggestions that will keep a song in your heart while you wait for the series to finally return from its inordinately long hiatus in April.

TV shows don't have to be gender- or age-specific, but there's no denying the target demographic in this week's list. Come to think of it, these aren't so much of DVDs as they are DADs, as in your dad would probably enjoy most of them.

Modern Family: Almost Perfect

Modern Family: Almost Perfect As Modern Family's fantastic first season has progressed, it's just gotten better and funnier, and its characters have become more and more likable with each episode as the show has quickly grown into one of the best on television. With one glaring exception -- Julie Bowen's character Claire. While all the characters on the show are flawed by design, Claire is the standard irreversibly shrill sitcom wife surrounded by otherwise transgressive characters. Even when she does redeem herself by letting her husband win a foot race, or begrudgingly jumping into a pool with her clothes on to satisfy the stepmother she called a gold-digger, she's still a joyless, shrew of a woman, and that's a damn shame.
