Today's headlines reign in quality, not quantity, which is ideal for the news but not for Jersey Shore episodes. How could MTV only give us 10 hours with these people? I, for one, could've watched an entire episode of JWoww fighting with her boyfriend on the mallard phone while Vinny lay in bed with pink eye.
After four seasons, Rob Lowe has announced he's leaving Brothers and Sisters because he feels he's under-utilized. If he wanted to have a bigger part in the show, he should have dressed up as a woman and worked as Nora's nanny, because we all know that Sally Field is a sucker for that kind of stuff.
In case you needed another reason to love Bill Simmons, his take on the Conan/Leno feud is pretty brilliant.
Bill Simmons is really on to something! Conan should totally go to Comedy Central and be on after Stephen Colbert! Still, lots of networks are fighting for him, so we'll have to wait to see what he chooses to do.
TNT just signed on some big names themselves! The network has greenlit several pilots, including one from Steven Spielberg and one from George Clooney. It's especially nice to see that Jason Lee has already been signed to another series.
ABC still has an extreme case of pilot fever as they picked up two more dramas. True Blue is written by Jon Feldman from Dirty Sexy Money, while Matadors is from Jack Orman (ER). Unfortunately, the project has nothing to do with bullfighting.
I'm not a Star Trek fan myself, but I understand how big of a deal this Questor Tapes TV series that Gene Roddenberry's son is starting is, because I remember how I felt when E! announced The Simple Life Goes to Camp.
Food Network and HGTV fans can finally rest easy now that the networks are airing again on Cablevision. My heart goes out to the poor souls who suffered through the three-week stalemate between Scripps and the cable supplier. I'm not so sure I could have made it that long.
