The world keeps spinning in 2010, with new cast members, pilots, networks, feuds, and even several jokes.
While we're sure there's plenty of homosexual conflict around the world, the largest one on the Internet right now is the "big gay battle" between HIMYM's Neil Patrick Harris and Torchwood's John Barrowman for Man of the Decade. Voting closes at midnight tonight, but do we have to decide between them? Can't we just crown them king and queen? They can work out who gets which title.
Kim Raver, who plays Teddy Altman, the cardio surgeon/Christina enemy, will now be a regular on Grey's Anatomy. No word yet if her character will try to seduce Owen Hunt... but duh, she totally will.
Pablo Schreiber (best known for his role as Nick Sobotka on The Wire) is joining the cast on FX's new drama Lights Out. He plays the role of the boxing manager/brother of main character Patrick "Lights" Leary (Hold McCallany). If only they hadn't recast Melora Hardin from The Office (with Catherine Mccormack) as Patrick's wife, that would be one knockout all-around cast.
ESPN and Discovery Communications plan to launch the first 3D television networks. ESPN 3D launches June 11 with the first FIFA World Cup match South Africa vs. Mexico, and Discovery is teaming up with Sony and Imax for their 3D network to launch in 2011. While there's no official name for the Discovery network yet, might I suggest "3T DV"? [I don't think that will work. - Zach]
In tragic TV news, NBC has ordered an untitled, single-camera pilot for Adam Corolla. In it, the writer/radio host plays a contractor who rebuilds his life after a messy divorce and who probably says a lot of terrible things about women.
And finally, breaking fake news: Slut Spill in California.
