Here's a tough question: If you were stranded on a deserted island, with which of the celebrities mentioned in today's news would you like to get stuck?
Do you like being excited? If so, you'll be happy to hear that Zach Galifianakis will be hosting SNL March 6! Seriously, how much do you wish he received an Oscar nomination? Also, on February 27, JLo will be multi-tasking as host and musical guest.
Matthew Broderick has finally been nabbed for a pilot. He'll be starring in Beach Lane as a celebrity author hired by an irresponsible millionaire heir to run his failing small-town newspaper in the Hamptons. Any chance Carrie Bradshaw would get a guest column one day?
Oh, and speaking of SATC, Darren Star will be directing an HBO biopic about Anita Bryant. I, along with the rest of America, would love to see Sean Penn make a cameo as Harvey Milk.
CBS picked up two pilots last night; one is a cop show from Sopranos alumni Mitchell Burgess and Robin Green, and the other from ER executive producer John Wells is a medical drama.... how original.
Even more underwhelming is ABC's latest greenlit project, It Takes a Village, because it has nothing to do with Hilary Clinton. How dare you deceive us, Casey Johnson and David Windsor!
In a recent interview, Evangeline Lilly told reporters she's "not passionate about acting the way you probably should be to call yourself an actor." H8 you.
In "things that I'm excited for The Soup to make fun of" news, Oprah will be starring in her own reality show.
Office writers enticed me with word that Michael Scott will be having a new romance later this season, though I'm disappointed to hear that it won't be Holly.
Congratulations to Ted (that's Josh Radnor to you) from How I Met Your Mother for winning a directing award at Sundance. We knew you were awesome!
The latest Dexter fan? Ricky Gervais, who says he'd like to write a similar show for US television. We're not stopping you, Ricky.
The Situation and Snooki finally trademark their nicknames. Ugh -- so much for those 10,000 business cards I just got printed.
