24's David Anders is already back from the dead, as he just signed on for a multi-episode arc in Vampire Diaries. Actually, if he's playing a vampire, I guess he'd technically be back from the undead. My bad!

The rumors are true: Pamela Anderson will compete on Dancing with the Stars this season. The full cast will be revealed on Monday, but until then, let's all pray that Kate Gosselin doesn't make the cut.

How I Met Your Mother's Jason Segel will hopefully grace us with full-frontal nudity again when he joins Cameron Diaz in the new comedy Bad Teacher.

In today's pilot news, the following noteworthy actors have been cast for roles: Past Life star Kelli Giddish, SNL alumna Casey Wilson, and The Wire's Domenick Lombardozzi. Who knows how many of those pilots will make it on air, though.

And, speaking of which, ABC has slipped in another pilot order! Southern Discomfort (get it?!) is a comedy about a father whose life is turned upside down when his grown kids move back in with him. To be fair, the pickup was to fill the void left by a pilot that has already failed.
