Today's TWoP News: February 3, 2010

Today's special is TV news, with three side dishes available: new pilots, silly law suits, or one small order of Bikini Boy.

Rumors are spreading that Joe Jonas will guest star on Brothers & Sisters as a young Tommy Walker. I hate to make Arrested Development references in everything I write but... Him?

Virginia Madsen has been cast as the lead actress in ABC's comedy-drama Scoundrels. The show is set for an eight-episode run this summer, but if it doesn't work out, Madsen could always go the same route as her ex and have her own My Virginia dating show. Just sayin'.

I generally love HBO, but their latest project I'm With the Band: Confessions of a Groupie starring Zooey Deschanel sounds straight out of Indie Hell.

The CW greenlit three more pilots, all sounding very CW-ish. Call me crazy, but I think the promoters of Hellcats are being a bit too ambitious in describing their show as, "Election meets Bring It On."

It's high time for CBS and Fox projects, as Billy Gardell accepted the lead role in CBS's Mike and Molly, and veteran Bollywood actor Harish Patel has joined FOX's Nirvana.

Idol fans will be like, "Oh, okay," to hear that last night's Bikini Boy's appearance was a radio stunt.

MacGyver creator Lee Zlotoff is trying to sue the producers of the MacGruber film over an infringement of rights. Apparently, Zlotoff has never heard of the right to parody, nor does he realize how terrible the MacGruber movie looks anyway.

There's gossip about a guy accusing Randy Jackson of stealing the idea of ABDC from him. Considering the fact that his (alleged!) name is Dwight McGhee, I have a hard time believing he even exists. Nice try, TMZ!

Jon Stewart will guest on Bill O'Reilly's show in an interview that will span both tonight and tomorrow night. All I'm asking is for someone to make a YouTube video of Cam'ron saying, "You Mad!" after every single thing O'Reilly says to Stewart.

Rupert Murdoch would love to give Conan a show on FOX! First, he'll just need proof that Conan will make the network tons of money, along with a signed document giving Murdoch complete custody of O'Brien's soul.

In case you can't remember why Aziz Ansari is so awesome, reading his interview with the A.V. Club will surely jog your memory.

And finally, Best Week Ever has good news for wealthy Full House fans who want to buy a house in San Francisco!
