Today's TWoP News: February 4, 2010

There is so much news today, I almost forgot that we're only five days away from the next episode of Lost! Could you possibly imagine?

If you can still manage to keep up with its insane story lines, you'll be happy to hear that Big Love has been renewed for a fifth season.

Scrubs' Sarah Chalke scored the female lead in the ABC pilot Freshman. She'll be playing a smart, funny freshman congresswoman who is successful in all walks of life except relationships. We can't have it all, ladies, am I right? Ugh.

Hey TBS, Gary Cole is gonna go ahead and star in Uncle Nigel, your first hour-long comedy pilot. Did you see the memo about this?

Rob Lowe may co-star in a Criminal Minds spin-off for CBS, but all that really means to us is that Lowe's back on track to feeling underutilized in yet another drama.

That singer I used to love when I was in middle school and her brother, that guy who made a sex tape with Kim Kardashian, are getting their own reality series on VH1. I'm just fooling around, people love Brandy and Ray J. Nothing but respect!

Lost's Libby (Cynthia Watros) will guest-star on House this season for a multi-episode story arc. Be careful about reading that article if you're a House spoilerphobe!

The latest Dancing with the Stars rumor is that Pam Anderson may join the cast. However, this is from the same source that claimed Anderson would be on Celebrity Big Brother, so don't get your hopes up.

Bravo may be pulling Alex and Simon from Real Housewives of New York City. The source in this story says the network feels the couple can be replaced, but I doubt they can find two other snooty New Yorkers who are obsessed with their social status. Puh-lease! Seriously though, #TeamJill for life.

Three and a half months has never felt so close now that ABC has confirmed that the Lost series finale date will be Sunday, May 23. Hold me, Internet!

And finally, the Puppy Bowl line-up has been announced! Which little cutie is your favorite?! You're only allowed to choose 19, max.

#15 on the Puppy Bowl starting lineup is quite possibly the oddest looking dog I've ever seen. Still cute of course, but wow.

I agree. That totally looks like a photo shopped pic.

I'm getting married on May 22 and leaving for my honeymoon on May 23rd. I don't know how to feel about this.

Obviously, you're going to have to reschedule. You can cite the State of Union as precedent.

And, of course, it's Alice Cooper's birthday. TV Connection: the classic Muppets episode, of course.

Agreed about #15, and speaking of the Muppet Show, #16 looks like Miss Piggy's dog Muppy.
