Happy St. Patrick's Day, everyone! Sadly, it's not entirely joyful for us at the TWoP office, because we are right next to the insanely loud NYC parade and it has been going on all day. I'd be having a meltdown if it wasn't for such a good Lost episode last night. Love you, Sawyer.
Coco lovers rejoice! Fox and your favorite redhead are working out a deal for a new late night show. This is exciting and all, but honestly, I'd settle for reruns of Andy Richter Controls the Universe.
Remember that Jillian Michaels show we reported about a few months ago? NBC has set its premiere date for June 1. Until then, you'll have to settle on watching Jillian stand on the chests of Biggest Loser contestants while they do sit-ups.
I had all but given up on that Hawaii Five-0 pilot, but now that Spike... er, James Marsters, is on board, I'm feeling a little less snarky about it.
Tom Selleck is also in talks of joining a cop drama, and as much as we'd it love if he joined Hawaii, it's an entirely different project. It's not too late, Tom! Don't put your name on anything yet!
In even more "TV actors I like" news, Glee's Jayma Mays will star as the female human lead in The Smurfs movie.
And finally, I hate to end on a worried note, but Syfy has a bunch of reality shows in the works, and most of them look terrible. The two worst-sounding ones have already been set in stone. A "self-proclaimed psychic intuitive radio host"? A team that "searches for the truth behind supernatural and unexplained occurrences that have been caught on tape"? Is this Springer or Syfy? At least we have another season of Tracy Morgan's Scare Tactics to look forward to.
