It is the nicest day ever! Celebrate with some TV news!
NBC is bringing back the original Apprentice, sans-celebrities. Contestants will either be unemployed, stuck in jobs they don't like or recent college graduates facing a weak job market... basically, everyone I know from my liberal arts school days. And they said being an English major was fruitless! Ha!
Check out these stills from the Chuck season finale, unless you don't want spoilers. I mean, they really don't seem like too big of spoilers, but I am freaking terrified of you people, so I'm telling you to be careful.
We love the idea of TV shows going on tour, which is why it's so exciting to announce that Top Chef: The Tour is hitting the road again. I was lucky enough to attend a Bravo event last week and ate some former contestants' cooking, and it was absolutely amazing. Also, this mofo is free, and hopefully really, really close to the TWoP office.
On April 17, members of the Glee posse will guest on Oprah. That's cool and all, but it feels like it's been forever since last season, and all of this hype is just making me antsy.
In what is definitely my favorite news story of the day, Comedy Central has released a Futurama teaser trailer. I cannot wait for new episodes.
Jeez, Showtime is really gearing up for the summer. There's the sixth season of Weeds, eighth season of Penn & Tell, and new shows The Big C, The Real L Word, and The Green Room with Paul Provenza. I wonder which one will be the most insane? Just kidding, we all know it's Weeds.
VH1 also has their own crop of new series, with Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business, Basketball Wives What Chilli Wants, and VH1 Tough Love Couples. For these, I can't figure out which sounds the most terrible.
