Glee: Our Dream Britney Spears Set List

Considering how much hype there was around Glee's "The Power of Madonna," we were delighted that it didn't disappoint. With its success, series creator Ryan Murphy is now playing with the idea of an all-Britney Spears episode. We love the thought of it, and think that Britney's catchy, theatrical music would totally adapt to the Glee universe. Here are some of our picks for what each of the show's stars should sing.

"Radar"
Performed by: Rachel
Now that sexy Jesse is in New Directions, Rachel has plenty of time to stare at him during practice. We picture her singing this sultry song to him while she does her best to seduce him.

"3"
Performed by: Brittany and Santana
Rumors are spreading that Brittany and Santana are being promoted to series regulars, so why not let them shine while performing this skanky number? Since Santana just took Finn's virginity, it's not out of the realm of possibility that these Cheerios would want to have a three-way with him.

"You Drive Me Crazy"
Performed by: Kurt
Meanwhile, Kurt could sing this boy-crazy, anxiety-ridden song as he lusts after the football hunk.

"...Baby One More Time"
Performed by: Finn
We can see it now: Despite all of the attention Finn is getting from other girls (and Kurt) throughout McKinley High, deep down, he's still in love with Quinn. As he fondly thinks back to the good times they've shared, Finn would serenade Quinn with Britney's first single in hopes that a spark will arise in his ex's heart.

"I'm a Slave 4 U"
Performed by: Terri
In a similar, less wholesome vein, Terri would also use Britney's music for the purpose to trying to winning her lover back. Dressed in something slutty, Terri can sing Will one of the trashiest seduction songs in the whole catalog. And it will be oh-so rewarding to watch him reject her.

"I'm Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman"
Performed by: Mercedes
Stepping away from the sexual charge of the episode, Mercedes tries to cope with her teenager awkwardness and has a touching moment of self-reflection while belting out this pop song about growing up.

"Oops! I Did It Again"
Performed by: Santana
Once again grabbing the spotlight, Santana sings a solo all about the joys of toying with boys' hearts. Perhaps her fellow Cheerios could serve as background dancers! And Santana could wear a red latex jumpsuit! Okay, we need this to happen.

"Gimme More"
Performed by: Brittany
Not to be outdone, Brittany sings a solo of her very own. Acting out a cheerleading fantasy, the blonde imagines what it would be like to be captain of the team. She can even use the song's "It's Brittany, bitch," in proper context.

"Toxic"
Performed by: Rachel
Later, Rachel finds out that Jesse is using her; But rather than feeling sad or even humiliated, she is instead torn between her rage and her attraction to him. Naturally, the only way she can express this dilemma would be through an over-the-top performance.

"Womanizer"
Performed by: Some/All the Girls
Since every great Glee episode needs a group number, why not have a bunch of girls sing this song about sex-crazy Puck? He's totally the show's K-Fed.

"Piece of Me"
Performed by: Sue Sylvester
Jane Lynch was so fantastic in "The Power of Madonna" that she absolutely needs to have another solo. Singing "Piece of Me" through the hallways in the midst of some controversy that she herself no-doubt created, we imagine this could be Sue's next "Vogue."

Have any ideas of your own? Leave 'em in the comments, and be sure to check out the Glee musical moments we'd like to forget.

My friend suggested, how about a Glee Grease episode?

Brittany and Santana are being promoted to series regulars? What does that mean? They're already in every episode...? I'm so confused. Whatever it means, can Other Asian Kid get some of that treatment as well? Hell, can he just get a line or two?

I just love how we step away from the sex theme of the episode for the "fat black girl" *rolls eyes*

I don't care if it's in an all-brittney episode or not, I DEMAND that Ryan Murphy makes Santana singing Oops I did it again in the red jumpsuit happen.

You picked all my most hated Britney songs in that list. There were a couple of good ones too, but damn... there are SO MANY great Britney songs, and you come up with crap like "Toxic", "Slave 4 U", and "Gimme More"??

I'd like to hear Rachel sing "Email My Heart" to Jesse (It's so cute and sweet and lovesick-y); or, if it's the one where she finds out he's been using her, she could bust out some "Everytime". I'll bet Lea Michele could knock that one out of the park!

I know it's unlikely that they will use any songs that didn't get radio play, but I'd really, really love to see:

Finn & Quinn - I Will Still Love You (perfect for both their voices, and easy to work into a story)

Mercedes leading the group in "Soda Pop" (because it's fun and she could sing the hell out of it)

Santana & Puck - What It's Like to be Me (They would definitely bring the heat, and I'd love to see them hook up anyway)

Group Song: Bombastic Love (because every time I've ever heard this, I've pictured an awesome group song and choreography going with it, and this is the perfect opportunity for that fantasy to become an awesome reality.)

Oh this is absolutely great. All I know is that I'm ALL for Brittany singing "It's Brittany, bitch." There's a YouTube video centering around Brittany using that same song.

I can definitely see Britney Spears being a great choice for a theme episode...I just hope they don't throw the storyline out the window for it.

I'm also waiting for a Lady Gaga song. Preferably either "Speechless," "Boys Boys Boys," or "Paparazzi."

Quinn, not Mercedes, for I'm Not A Girl! Y'know, considering how she's a knocked-up teen and all.

Holy crappy list. The only song/idea I agree with is the "Toxic" cover for Rachel.

How can you forget to give a song for Quinn? She is so underused on this show.

"Womanizer" would totall work about Puck. And it is one they could really work with. The others, eh. For some reason, Terri singing "Slave 4 U" frightens me.

Series regular for Brittany and Santana means that they aren't just contracted for a certain number of episodes, that they will be part of the core cast, even though that seems to have happened already. Awesome! Love those two. "I think my cat is reading my diary."

As long as "Toxic" is included, I don't even care. Although I'm surprised "Circus" was left off the list, because it would DEFINITELY be included.

Finn singing anything to Quinn is just a bad idea. that shp sailed along time ago.

Britney themed episode sounds like a pure torture to me but maybe they can make the songs sound good

there is one good idea in the list - Womanizer

Brittany's definetly my favorite and she MUST MUST MUST sing "Gimme More" and say "It's Brittany, bitch. She's hilarious "Did you know that dolphins are just gay sharks?"

I hate about half of these songs. If they do it, they need to do her older songs, Hit Me Baby One More Time, Oops I Did It Again, even Toxic. But her new songs are awful. I hate all of them, and the Glee club shouldn't have to sing them.

Of course Sue Sylvester would hate Britney due to her Madonna Fandom, but in the end the club is victorious in Raising Britney as thw Winner of the Popularity Contest, making Sue lust for Revenge.

Sue in Me Against the Music (of Britney, but being defeated by the Glee Club, of course).
