New Emmy Categories for Modern Televison

While we can't say we're surprised that the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences has gotten rid of the Emmys' main title theme category, it's definitely a little depressing to think about the lack of original theme songs in modern television. To stay positive, we're focusing on the potential 2010-appropriate categories that may fill the void. In the spirit of catering to the current trends in television, here are a few suggestions, along with possible nominees.

Man, TWOP sure is bitter about this season of LOST. Maybe you should check with your recapper, who has given this season pretty high marks...

I agree Trace, while I understand the whole motto is "Spare the Snark, spoil the network", there's a difference between "snarking" out actual flaws in a show, and snarking for snark's sake. Eventually you just sound silly and bitter.

Everything ELSE about this article is pretty funny though.

How can you not sound silly while talking about TV? TV is pretty ridiculous (sometimes in a good way).
Not everyone loves Lost.

Or maybe that recapper better check with reality and see that LOST doesn't deserve high marks this season. Lost fans can sometimes be as bad as those Twilight maniacs in their inability to admit flaws in their viewing material.

And may I say, Rachel is fast becoming the only readable thing on TWoP.
