End dates, movies and nearly 50 new TV series in today's news!
Mad Men creator Matt Weiner says he'd like to wrap up his series in 2012, after six seasons. On the one hand, I hate to think this show has an end in sight; on the other, I appreciate when creators care about quality over quantity. And maybe Weiner was inspired by our quit when you're ahead gallery!
As an Arrested Development fan, I'm always skeptical about the rumors involving movies based on freshly cancelled TV shows, but Kiefer Sutherland swears there's a 24 film adaptation in the works. Call me crazy, but I'm tempted to believe it's the real deal.
VH1 has just added a whopping 44 new shows to its programming lineup. To quote a brilliant TWoP tweet: "That's a lot of tools, D-list addicts and siblings of Brandy."
Speaking of trash, Michelle "Bombshell" McGee and Jamie Jungers are shopping around Celebrity Cheaters. Look out, Fox Reality Channel!
Alright, one more bad show -- CBS's hidden-camera show starring Drew Carey, called WTF!
And finally, Cybill Shepherd will be playing Jennifer Love Hewitt's mother in a Lifetime movie. Shepherd will play a body waxer at a women's salon who is stunned to discover that her former Texas homecoming-queen daughter (Hewitt) is working as a prostitute to pay the bills. Why not?

The only thing the Photo Galleries inspire people to do is look back at the archives from when the site was funny and actually somewhat edgy.
Right on, Craig. Right on. There are still a few good recappers, and the forums are OK, but this site sucks compared to what it used to be.
I do have to agree... I've been reading more of those archived recaps lately than recaps of new shows.
Fox Reality Channel no longer exists, ironically, as of the date this entry was posted.
