Presumably between the success of both Glee and Idol, Fox is airing a week of music-themed episodes of its most popular shows. We've already reported the Fringe news, but Bones, House, The Simpsons and Family Guy will also have "musical elements added to their storylines." This scheme has potential to be terrible, but at least it's better than animating every show for a week. If other networks want to jump on the bandwagon, here's a list of shows that we think need musical episodes.
Turns out there's still a fighting chance for a Veronica Mars movie, though, if it takes place in college instead of high school, it's useless to me.
Shania Twain will soon be back on Idol to mentor the contestants. A few days ago, this maybe would have been cool, but everything now pales in comparison to next week's Adam Lambert episode.
In what must be the spirit of Easter, TLC has resurrected the recently cancelled American Chopper. Now it'll be American Chopper: Senior vs. Junior, because if a show doesn't feature a dysfunctional family, it's just not TLC material.
Time for some casting news, everybody! Maura Tierney is back on the woman-hating Rescue Me and Seth Gabel is has been booked for a key role in Fringe. Ooh, and Love Actually's Andrew Lincoln has been cast in that new AMC zombie thriller The Walking Dead, allowing me to finally make a "To me, you are BRAAAAIIIINNNNSSS" joke! Yay!
