Yay, there's actually TV news today! Yesterday was kind of a disappointment.
In news that Mindy Monez is extremely unhappy about, Rita (Julie Benz) will be back in the season five premiere of Dexter. We're not sure what's going to be worse: Ghost Rita or Deb trying to raise Dexter's kids in that tiny apartment.
Diane Keaton has officially signed on to HBO's half-hour comedy pilot Tilda, with Ellen Page serving as her costar. Is there a way Toni Collette could get in on this? That would sort of be my trifecta.
As for more new shows, Style Network has greenlighted Too Fat for 15: Fighting Back while BBC America has chosen to pack on the pounds with a US version of the British series Come Dine With Me. I will watch them both, while simultaneously doing crunches and eating peanut butter.
And there's even some renewals today, too! Discovery Channel has ordered a second season of underrated reality series The Colony, and VH1 is giving second seasons to Brandy & Ray J: A Family Business, Basketball Wives, and What Chilli Wants. They keep those shows but cancel Best Week Ever? Cruel!
