Please be dead, Heroes. Please be dead, Heroes. Please, please, please be dead.

In addition to picking up J.J. Abrams' Undercovers, NBC announced they've picked up The Event, in which Jason Ritter hopefully shaves off his awful Parenthood facial hair to uncover a government conspiracy (which sounds kind of fun? But it could be stupid! But it might be fun?); that awful-sounding Cindy Chupack show Love Bites, in which two actress who deserve better -- Becki Newton and Jordana Spiro -- suffer the hardships of being the only single girls left in their group (refreshing premise!), and Outsourced, a comedy about an American man whose corporate job moves him to India and the culture shock that ensues. Hopefully that last one won't be too racist. Hopefully four new pickups with likely more on the way equals the death of Heroes, but I still doubt it.

Famous couch potato Stephen King will be making a cameo on Sons of Anarchy next season simply because he is a fan and he is Stephen King. Oh, and by the way, they're setting the entire season in Maine. No particular reason, just a change of pace.

Glee's Matthew Morrison has said that he hopes his show doesn't do an all-Britney episode, despite the ratings it would bring in. And, he didn't say so or anything, but that's totally just because he's jealous that Sue Sylvester looks better in a red pleather space catsuit than he does.

Reruns of Moonlight will be paired with reruns of Vampire Diaries on the CW this summer, because they are thematically similar in that they both make crazy people on the internet's genitals explode. Also, CBS thinks watching old Moonlight episodes will make people want to watch Hawaii Five-O. Right, like how The Back-Up Plan did. Great synergy, guys!

Zachary Levi's vocals have been added to Katharine McPhee's "Terrified" (a surprisingly nice little guilty pleasure song, I don't mind saying), but I can't get the video to work so I don't know if it's any good or not. Sorry, Chuckies, or whatever your fan name is.

Ah, Mindy, I still have a little Heroes love left in me and am still hoping for one more year so we can tie up all the lose ends. Even like it is now, it's better than half of what's on TV today.

Zachary Levi's got some decent pipes on him. It's time for some Chuck karoke...

Youtube Zachary Levi singing "The Letter" with Band From TV. That Kat McPhee song doesn't do him justice. Boy can sing!!!

I'm done with "Heroes" anyway, but I hope Jack Coleman finds something awesome and worthy of his talents once it's gone.

If by half, you mean most of reality TV I agree. But even the worst CW shows seem more appealing that Heroes these days.

Heroes became a guilty pleasure for me. I knew it wasn't any good, but I still enjoyed it for some reason. Maybe the actors. As long as some of the actors get different gigs I'd be fine with Heroes dying now. Well, okay, I just want to see more Zachary Quinto to be honest.

To all those calling for the demise of Heroes, I was reading on another website that since the show still brings in good revenue from DVD sales and the overseas markets, it could get another season next year. Even so, that could be the final season, just so they can tie up all loose ends.

Could there PLEASE be some kind of captcha or something to get rid of these annoying spammers?

Also, I love Zachary Quinto, but Sylar is one of the things about Heroes that sucks specifically. Sylar's unearned redemption still makes my blood boil. Serial killers don't get a free pass just because they're cute.

For the millionth time: Heroes doesn't suck as bad as SMallville. The latter lasting ten seasons (including 2010-11) is a bigger affront to viewers' intelligence than a potential fifth season of the former. Besides, I frequent the Hall Of Just Talk Meet Market on the forums. Where would I go if Heroes got canceled?
