BLOGS
I'm trying not to get too personal or gossipy in today's TWoP news. Let's see how long that lasts.
In order to be more "inclusive" Glee executive producer Ryan Murphy plans to introduce another Christian female character to the show next season. While this could be interesting, I'd prefer to see another fiery Jewish girl named Rachel.
Jason Priestley is joining ABC's upcoming Scoundrels for a multi-episode arc, where he will be no doubt break all of our hearts yet again.
CSI vet Liz Vassey is rumored to be exiting the series. Prediction: CSI will also soon be leaving.
Grasping at straws, Celebrity Rehab has allegedly been trying to coax Liza Minnelli to join the cast. Like so many others before her, Liza is saying no to the deal. Please join me in celebration by listening to her "Single Ladies" cover.
Now that we're in classless territory, it seems like the right time to report that on Sunday at 8 PM, MTV will air the first 10 minutes of Jersey Shore Season Two.
Oh, and check out the Weeds Season Six Teaser Trailer, if only to remind you of how unbelievably insane this show has gotten. It's been so long since last season that I nearly forgot how Shane killed Pilar, and now I'm all frustrated again. *Shakes fist at promo*
Enjoy this absurd video of Kelly Bensimon "speaking out" against bullying!
And finally, a huge congratulations to newlywed Jane Lynch. Go Sue!

It'll only be interesting if he doesn't make her a mean, judgmental caricature like most shows do with their Christian characters.
I'm really afraid that Glee's Christian character is going to be an offensive stereotype of "Christians." (Anti-gay, Republican, etc.) Ryan Murphy, please be open-minded and courageous and think outside the box on this one. Christians are almost never portrayed fairly in Hollywood, and we'd really like to be. (Some of us voted for Obama and were against Prop 8, just for the record.) Which reminds me... HUGE CONGRATS to Jane Lynch and her new wife, Lara! May they live happily ever after! :-)
I thought Quinn was Christian? I hate that they're adding all these new people. I would rather more screen time for Tina, Artie, Mike and Matt. Glee has been pretty bad these episodes back. With the exception of Jihnathan Groff and Idina Menzel.
Amen.
