Liars, Criminals and saboteurs are all over today's news! Plus: You want me to start paying for Hulu?
Modern Family and Glee just landed big syndication deals, with the former heading to USA and the latter to Oxygen, each for a very pretty penny. Also, Oxygen will be doing that reality show about the search for a new Glee cast member that Fox recently scrapped. As long as no one overworks our little singers, we're down.
In more TV business news, Hulu has unveiled a $9.99/month subscription service. Basically, what this means is that Hulu will be the same (maybe a tiny bit worse) as it is now for users who don't pay, but Hulu Plus users will be able to access more shows on more platforms (like iPads and PlayStation 3s). And we'll all still have to watch commercials, so it'll pretty much be like a library with billboards. Or Netflix with just TV. Or...I don't know, who's going to pay for Hulu?
For some reason, Project Runway has been extended to 90 minutes per episode, which is really hit or miss... While we'd probably sit through an hour and a half of an Anthony, the extra thirty minutes of someone like Mila might actually kill us.
The upcoming 12th season of Big Brother sounds strangely more alluring now that there's going to be a saboteur, but probably just because it's a rip-off of the late great The Mole.
Congrats to Pretty Little Liars, who just picked up an extra 12 episodes. Maybe "A" is blackmailing someone over at ABC Family? Dun dun dunnnnnnn!
And finally, Janeane Garofalo is joining CBS' Criminal Minds spin-off. Oddly enough, while she has not commented about the deal on her fake Twitter account, she has proclaimed her love for KEDD Radio several times.

I suspect the PR expansion is just another attempt make Models of the Runway work.
Nope, CBS, not even Garofalo will get me to watch that spin-off. Maybe BEFORE AJ Cook got fired and Paget Brewster was forced into part-time, but now, forget it.
Good news about Pretty Little Liars. I'm quite enjoying it.
Yeah, except that Big Brother has already done this, it was called America's Choice! (Eric) Alison Grodner, it's okay to repeat ideas, just quit acting like it's something new.
