After two full seasons of cast departures and virtually nobody watching it, Starz has cancelled Party Down. It's too bad, but I can't blame them. At lease 90% of the cast has pilots already. The fact that we'll never have to endure another Henry and Casey romantic quarrel ever again is just a bonus.

Hey, Larry King finally quit. And, as reported, Piers Morgan is in line to replace him, though King would prefer Ryan Seacrest, because he'd like his show to run an extra 12 minutes from now on.

Emily VanCamp won't be appearing much in Brothers and Sisters' likely final season next year. That's two seasons too late, but thanks just the same.

And to end with something light, Vienna Girardi says she's going to be on the cover of Playboy, but Playboy says she's lying. This is the first time in my life I have ever rooted for Playboy. As usual, thanks for nothing, Vienna.
