While you can't always give their shows an "A" for quality, you have to give Syfy an "A" for creativity. I'd rather watch a show where Dr. Watson has been injected with vampire blood or Edgar Allan Poe's notebook starts killing people than another show about a dysfunctional family of cops or doctors.
Sanctuary: The Complete Second Season
You've got to love any show that features Jack the Ripper, Sasquatch and Vampire Nikola Tesla as regular characters. Or not -- we can't tell you who to love. But the presence of werewolves, invisible men and vampire giant squid should help with the positive feelings. But shouldn't it have a hunchback?
Everwood: The Complete Third Season
Has it already been pointed out that "Everwood" sounds like a brand of erectile dysfunction medication? If you experience Everwood for longer than four seasons, consult your doctor.
Family Guy: Volume 8 and American Dad: Volume 5
How much Seth MacFarlane can you take in one sitting? Put these two DVD sets on back-to-back and find out. I'd suggest making it a drinking game, but if you aren't drinking then you've already lost.
MacGyver: The TV Movies
Man, we hope MacGruber's dismal showing at the box office doesn't derail an actual, kick-ass MacGyver movie. I've even got the perfect tagline: "Things just got serious."
Leave It to Beaver: Season 3 and My Three Sons: Season 2, Volume 2
Confession of a former Nick at Nite junkie: I used to watch two hours of black-and-white television a day, and it was on a color set. Wasted childhood? You be the judge!
Secret Life of the American Teenager: Volume 4
I'd watch this show, but I respect the American teenager's right to privacy. Who am I to pry into her secret life?
Hawthorne: Season 1
Season 2 starts next week, so that means it's time to catch up on Season 1! Because there's a pretty good chance you didn't watch it.
Raffles: Complete Collection
Why hasn't there been an American adaptation of this series about a gentlemen cricketer who robs high society? They could even keep the cricket -- it would go a long way towards making him seem posh.
Trial & Retribution: Set 4
God bless the British -- not only does their long-running crime series use bigger words than "Law" and "Order," they also air each 90-minute episode over two nights, in order to solve the crime properly.
Johnny Bravo: Season 1
How is it this 1997 cartoon series is only now getting an American DVD release, when Australia and New Zealand have had Season 1 on DVD for three years? Curse you, Region 4! We know where you live!
