10. G.I. Jack

Similar To: G.I. Joe
Whereas G.I. Joe was a highly-trained special missions force, G.I. Jack would just be one guy -- Jack Bauer -- and he would single-handedly dismantle the latest plot of the terrorist organization Cobra in every episode. Sure, he'd have plenty of tech support back home, but mostly it would be him parachuting into a Cobra base, charging a line of tanks, cutting everybody's heads off and torturing the survivors for information. Because knowing is half the battle.

9. Bionic Family
Based On: Modern Family
Similar To: Bionic Six
The Bionic Six were an unconventional family made up of two parents and four teenage kids (two of whom were adopted) with cybernetic implants. Give the similarly unconventional Pritchett-Dunphy clan from Modern Family some bionics, possibly acquired following a grisly BB gun accident, and that could be one hilariously action-packed series.

8. FaceM.A.S.K.
Based On: Friday Night Lights
Similar To: M.A.S.K.
At the beginning of every episode, Coach Taylor would sit in front of a big computer screen and pick the football lineup needed for that day's game. Then he'd call them to the underground "Huddle Room," tell them the play, and sit them down in an elaborate machine that puts their high-tech football helmets on for them, for some reason. Then they'd go out on the field to play against evil rival squad D.I.L.L.O.N., possibly driving custom transforming vehicles. Those may not be necessary, but the booster squad really wanted them to have them.

7. Dexter's Lab
Based On: Dexter
Similar To: Dexter's Laboratory
The cartoon Dexter already performs bizarre experiments in his lab, with plenty of high-tech stuff that's off-limits to his sister. Similarly, the TV-based Dexter's Lab would be where serial killer Dexter does his forensic research, but at the push of an air-conditioner button, his lab turns into a torture chamber for the low-lifes he brings there to ice. And as long as his pesky sister Deb doesn't find it, he'll be home free.

6. Gossip Babies
Based On: Gossip Girl
Similar To: Muppet Babies
The Muppet Babies were always making big deals out of little things the faceless Nanny was telling them. But what if they were getting their info from Nanny's blog, and they were all toddler versions of Chuck, Blair, Serena, Nate and Georgina? That would quite literally make our dreams come true.

5. He-Spy
Based On: Chuck
Similar To: He-Man and the Masters of the Universe
Think about it: both He-Man and Charles Carmichael have a nerdy alter ego (Prince Adam/Chuck the Nerd Herder), a sexy-yet-deadly partner (Teela/Sarah) and a spritely, diminutive sidekick (Orko/Morgan). Blend the two in a mystical universe where Chuck magically transforms into Charles when he's needed for a spy mission, and nobody knows his secret but his friend Morgo, even though Chuck and Charles totally look alike, and you've got a hit that'll show up on lunch boxes.

4. Juicehead Gorilla Z
Based On: Jersey Shore
Similar To: Dragon Ball Z
Since Dragon Ball Z is mostly long, drawn-out fights between muscular, spiky-haired guys, that might be the way to go when creating a cartoon that would be well-suited to the Jersey cast's limited voice-over talents. Pauly already has the hair, and we'd love to see The Situation go into Super-Situation mode, with bright yellow hair and even more ripped abs, before punching Ronnie through a mountain. All we need to do is put the characters in a hot tub between bouts and we're in business.

3. Will and the New Directions
Based On: Glee
Similar To: Josie and the Pussycats or Jem and the Holograms
Already a cartoonishly over-the-top show, the quick costume changes and frequent out-of-context singing of Glee would make much more sense as a cartoon. Josie and the Pussycats were always zipping around (sometimes in outer-space) wearing ridiculous cat outfits and performing songs at inopportune times as well as over frenetic chase sequences. Throw in an evil rival group, a la Jem's enemies the Misfits, and you've got an even sweeter version of this cotton-candy-flavored show.

2. Sailor Krypton
Based On: Smallville
Similar To: Sailor Moon
It's rare to find a show that balances romance and superheroics as well as Smallville -- in fact, we had to go find a cartoon about Japanese girls in sailor-suit high school outfits just to match it. Just imagine the naive and innocent Clark Kent saying the magic words that transform his shirt and tie into a fabulous black T-shirt and trench coat, giggling and striking a dramatic pose on a rooftop. Plus, he can strike up a romance with the mysterious "Stiletto Mask" -- actually his co-worker Lois Lane in disguise!

1. Madmen: The Animated Series
Based On: Mad Men
Similar To: Batman the Animated Series
It would be easy to take the advertising executives of Mad Men and inject them into the gloomy, art-deco world of the animated Gotham City. Dark knight Don Draper and boy wonder Pete Campbell would perch on the catwalks of the giant billboards they create, vigilantly watching to see how the citizens below react to their images and taglines. Criminals who steal the goods they advertise are caught, then questioned by Sterling Cooper's researchers about how they chose the brand they stole. Commerce and justice walk hand in hand, at least until Don catches his train back to the suburbs.
