Because I know you were really stressing out about missing the first episode of Outsourced, don't worry -- it's starting on a specific date and everything.
NBC has announced their fall premiere dates. Everything's in late September where you'd expect it, and Thursday is still a DVR nightmare even though Outsourced is not a real show. I think I speak for all of us when I say I can't wait until Parks & Recreation takes that slot back for good once it's cancelled.
FX announced some dates, too -- we get Sons of Anarchy back nice and early on September 7 and It's Always Sunny and The League on September 16. Why can't every network be FX?
Zach already riffed on it, but in case you missed that, the much beloved Holly (played by Amy Ryan) will not only appear in Steve Carell's final Office season, she'll apparently play a major role in the season's arc. That's fine; she's been nominated for enough awards. Totally time to go slumming for a while.
Lifetime has revealed the new Project Runway contestants, and by way of the crazy ones, we have Mondo, who dresses like some kind of schoolboy fantasy, and Peach, who looks like your mom if your mom is into HGTV and is named Peach. And don't forget -- it's 90 minutes of these people from now on. I sincerely hope they're exceedingly awesome.
Amber Tamblyn will be a doing a mini-arc on House next season (just filling in for Olivia Wilde, really), playing a med student House invites into the diagnostic team even though she is not quite qualified. Welcome to the team, new med student! Hope you like both being sexually harassed and being witness to a lot of things that could get everyone's medical licenses revoked!
HBO is trying to shop True Blood syndication to basic cable for $800,000 per episode, and though I know certain crazy people enjoy Sex & The City all censored and crap, I just can't believe True Blood would be even remotely watchable as a less bloody, more clothed version. I can't be left alone with that dialogue and nothing to look at. It would be cruel.
