TWoP 10: CW Crossovers We'd Like to See

To help both shows expand their audiences a little bit, The CW will be sending two characters from One Tree Hill (Haley and Mia, if you care) to the Life Unexpected-verse for one episode this fall. While we don't watch One Tree Hill and have plenty of issues with Life Unexpected, this idea intrigued us. Here are ten other CW crossovers that we actually would watch.

10. Smallville and Life Unexpected
The Daily Planet could start doing podcasts and bring in Portland radio personality Cate Cassidy to debate current events with Clark after Lois freezes up on the air. A love pentagon ensues, leading Lois to try to lure Lux to the dark side and Baze and Ryan to pool their money to buy some Kryptonite online.

9. Hellcats and Supernatural
The titular Hellcats could wake up one morning to find that they've somehow been transformed into literal cats from hell. Sam and Dean are called in to send them back to the feline underworld, but the task proves more difficult than they imagined when the hellcats won't stop meowing evil cheers and breaking into Satan backflips all over everywhere as an evasive technique and are too adorably evil to kill.

8. Gossip Girl and Nikita
After another suspicion of Rufus's infidelity, Lily could decide she's had enough cheating scares and hire elite sexy assassin Nikita to try to seduce him -- and kill him if he takes her up on her tawdry offer. Rufus can't resist Nikita's skeletal charms, but before she can kill him, Lily, Dan and Vanessa barge in with a change of heart, yelling and buzzing around her like they do. After several hours of this, Nikita finds them all so insufferably annoying that she kills them all and saves the show.

7. Vampire Diaries and Smallville
Investigating reports of vampire attacks, Lois Lane could travel to Mystic Falls to write a "news" article for the Planet, in between covering world politics. When she actually finds vampires, Clark arrives in the nick of time to remind everyone that Smallville did a vampire story already, way back in Season 5, and it was terrible.

6. 90210 and Supernatural
In the storyline that eternally refuses to die, that hobo Annie ran over 47 years ago could reanimate as a zombie, and Sam and Dean would have to figure out how to kill it, in a high school full of inordinately attractive teens, without Dean getting arrested for anything he'd have to register for in the future.

5. America's Next Top Model and Nikita
Still trying to bring down the organization that trained her to be a fashionable assassin, Nikita could go undercover at an ANTM audition to neutralize a target, but her plan would be disrupted when Tyra rejects her from the modeling competition for being too skinny. Seriously, Maggie Q is like a skeleton, in case we haven't mentioned it before.

4. 90210 and Life Unexpected
Tired of the Portland rain, Cate and Ryan could move to Beverly Hills and have Lux transfer to Beverly Hills High, where a topless photo of her is immediately distributed via text message. To be near his daughter and the woman he secretly loves, Baze buys the Peach Pit and turns it into a pub, simply called "The Pit."

3. Gossip Girl and Smallville
Chuck Bass could buy the Daily Planet and immediately set about trying to seduce both Lois Lane and Clark Kent. He ultimately succeeds, but only after sleeping with Kara, Tess, Zatanna, Chloe, Ollie, Chloe and Ollie, Chloe and Kara, the Justice Society and Brainiac twice.

2. The Vampire Diaries and America's Next Top Model
After spending some time terrorizing everyone in Mystic Falls after being away for so long, Katherine could decide to travel to New York to visit her maker: Andre Leon Talley. They eat Tyra, Nigel photographs it and they make the cover of esteemed couture webzine Fashion Vampires.

1. One Tree Hill and Supernatural
Sam and Dean could hear reports of a TV show that refuses to die and head to North Carolina to kill the overly dramatic group of twentysomethings. It is unclear whether they're vampires or zombies or merely phantoms of their former selves, but the brothers don't really care as long as they get paid.

Oh Please! We all know that Chuck would never waste ANY time on Clark or Lois! HeÄd go straight to Chloe and Ollie. Nice touch with the whole Justice Society and Brainiac, though.

How about ignoring the fact that VM is off the air and doing a VM/SPN cross over...
Imagine the snark between Dean and Veronica.

How about the most obvious crossover? SPN/TVD
The Winchester brothers meet the Salvatore brothers. Dean and Damon face-off.

This reminds me of my old WB fantasy crossover event, with Spike slaughtering the gang from Dawson's Creek.

Supernatural/ Vampire Diaries/ Gossip Girl. A show full of the Winchesters, the Salvatores, and Chuck & Nate. I don't care what the plot would be. Who would need one?

There are some awesome fanfics about this around the net. But to have it realized would be awesomesauce indeed.

Is it me or do the Winchesters already know how to kill zombies? I can swear we've seen a re-animated zombie girlfriend episode where the brothers staked the corpse to the grave, thereby killing the zombie. So they wouldn't have to figure out how the kill the zombie in the 90210 crossover.

I'm done nerding out now. As you were.

You are completely right.
The episode is like the fourth or so episode in season 2, and it's called 'Children Shouldn't Play With Dead Things'

And I really should not remember that.

The zombie protocols seem to vary; that one was raised by a nerdy necromancer and had to be nailed into her grave, while Death's lock-picking-zombies-of-doom only required a headshot. I seem to remember there being other zombies at some point in time, but fail to recall the specifics. Nevertheless, they should at least start out with the headshot; it's just good business.

I guess it would depend on how said hobo was reanimated. Then again, what's another retcon?

@SheWoe: You're right, that's the one. And if remembering that is wrong, I don't wanna be right.

@Ami: The protocols vary, though, because the methods of raising them varied. One was raised via a spell by human hands, whereas the zombie invasion in Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid were corpses reanimated by the Death Horseman himself. There's also the difference in behaviour, where the zombie girlfriend was homicidal, the Death horsemen zombies were cannibalistic. Throw in the fact taht some of them, like Bobby's wife, weren't, strictly speaking, zombies, since they were cremated and thus had no body to reanimate, and I think we can rule them out as zombies, per se, or atleast zombies in the same form as this 90210 hobo. So I think we can safely assume staking said hobo zombie to their grave ought to do the trick, unless new information comes to light.

based on how things went in 90210 this past season, what they should have done is have a crossover-continuity with MELROSE, just like they did back when Melrose Place first aired way back in 92. They could have had Sara Foster's character, after the falling out with Naomi on 90210, move into Melrose Place and get invovled with their scheming.

How about Supernatural/Smallville? Sam and Dean mistake Clark for a monster. Ensue salting/burning the corpse of Clark with kryptonite-inbued salt. Dean gets it on with Lois, while Sam has a heart to heart with Chloe. Castiel arrives and declares what we all secretly knew: the main characters have been demon-possessed since season 5. Sam gets righteous with Ruby's knife, Dean exorcises Lois, Cas kicks everyone's assbutts. End of show.

@kitty Snap! Was gonna comment that I don't watch GG, but #3 was totally my fave ... you just made it better.

@Amanda and @cassi I think our TVs would explode from the Brothers Hotness, though a SPN/TVD would be a snarky good time.

@LauraT .. IDK about SV/SPN.. but it'd be funny for everyone to think "Dean" looks familiar.

@pinky.... heh, though he leaves Pacey - the blind idiot - safe and sound.

The SV/SPN crossover.. yeah the vampire episode, not so good. But I'd rather Chloe and Oliver go to MF.. and stick around on a better show.

TVD/ANTM crossover...Tyra gets eaten, Andre Leon Talley is Katherine's maker AND Nigel makes it through it all to take the pics??? I'd pay to see that episode.
