Fox's Lone Star only lasted two poorly rated episodes before it officially became the first casualty of the fall 2010-11 television season. But while the con man series didn't click with viewers, it did have a pretty great cast. I'm hoping that since their show got cancelled so quickly, there's time for them to join another existing series later this season. Here's who should go where:
James Wolk
Friday Night Lights has already wrapped its final season, so there's no time to squeeze in a few episodes with Wolk playing a young Kyle Chandler. But the resemblance is so uncanny that I'd be game for an entire FNL: The Early Years series if the powers that be would buy it. Maybe Wolk could do some sort of long con on DirecTV.
Adrianne Palicki
Well, she could always be undead again on Supernatural since apparently people just keep coming back to life over there. Or she could join Wolk and return to her Friday Night Lights stomping grounds. But what I'd really love to see is Palicki as a spy on Chuck, looking hot and kicking ass.
Eloise Mumford
I actually think Mumford is cute, but I hope that she puts a huge picture on her resumé so that people know she isn't auditioning for a role on Hot in Cleveland. Anyway, I'd like to see this pretty blonde work again, despite her name, and she might make a sexy babysitter/tutor for Luke on Modern Family and give Claire and Phil something else to bicker about.
David Keith
Not exactly sure why, but there is just something about him that is calling out to be one of those mysterious not-quite-human folks on The Event. Either that or a super villain on No Ordinary Family.
Mark Deklin
He's a go-to guest star, but if I were to give him a regular gig, I think it would be as a cop of some sort... maybe on Blue Bloods as Tom Selleck's illegitimate son? Rival detective trying to take down Donnie Wahlberg? Or even maybe as a defense attorney butting heads with Bridget Moynahan?
Bryce Johnson
He's attractive and has that spoiled rich-kid look down pat, so send this boy C.O.D. to Serena Van Der Woodsen at Columbia University c/o Gossip Girl.
Jon Voight
Since Tina told us in the season premiere of Glee that all Artie wanted to do was watch Coming Home over and over, maybe Voight could reprise his Oscar-winning role as a paraplegic. He could give Artie advice on how to get a cute gal like Jane Fonda and explain to him that having sex is better than playing Halo.
