Chuck may have itty bitty ratings, but at least they're consistent! Since it's pretty much NBC's only show that doesn't fall in ratings week after week, chances are looking extremely good for a full season pick-up of 22 episodes this year. Chances of a fifth season are next summer's nail-biter, however.

Due to low ratings, ABC Family has canceled their syndication of Friday Night Lights. Damn, canceled in syndication? That's got to be somewhere between accidentally Tweeting sexts and peeing your pants as an adult on the public embarrassment scale. Poor show.

Oh neat, CBS has bought another Twitter feed -- Dear Girls Above Me -- about a long-suffering guy who bitches about the loud, slutty, stupid girls who live above him. Yep, I can see why they'd need to look to Twitter for that idea. Doesn't at all sound like the most sitcom-y idea ever had or anything.

Barbara Billingsley, TV's June Cleaver, passed away over the weekend at the age of 94. Obituaries make me uncomfortable, let's move on.

And in the only-kind-of-news news tidbits:
-President Obama has challenged Mythbusters to test a Greek myth involving setting a fleet of ships on fire using only mirrors and the sun, ant-style. So, they're going to do it, and it's going to air in December. What, were they gonna say no?
-Ed Asner is doing a CMT sitcom in which he'll play a cranky neighbor to a working, blue collar mother. After this and Betty White on TV Land, let's take bets for what's next. Valerie Harper to Syfy? Gavin MacLeod to BET? Cloris Leachman to... anything where she keeps her clothes on?
-Penn Badgley is tired of filming Gossip Girl and he wants you to know that he's not friends with Ed Westwick. Keep giving quotes like that and you may get your wish -- they might just Jenny Humphrey your ass. (And make TWoP's dreams come true.)
