You done good, AMC.

Last night's The Walking Dead premiere garnered an impressive 5.3 million viewers, and was the biggest AMC premiere to date. Zombie haters, I'm so sorry for your loss.

Oprah Winfrey's new network OWN just announced that they've picked up two new reality shows about washed up family members: The Judds, starring Naomi and Wynonna Judd, and The O'Neals, starring Ryan and Tatum O'Neal. That sounds pretty entertaining in a wonderfully depressing way, but big deal -- just about every cable network has a show like that these days. Call me when you've got something really crazy, OWN. Call me when you've got The Sheens.

Shonda Rhimes is open to bringing Izzie back to Grey's Anatomy in the future to tie up her storyline. That's unnecessary but fine, I guess, but what would be better is if Rhimes could explain to me how Amanda Foreman could play two completely different people within the same Grey's/Private Practice universe without having an evil twin. (This continuity lapse consumed 90% of my thoughts this weekend. I wish I were joking.)

Because NBC apparently exists solely for us to make fun of them these days, the network has announced a new developing project set in the Napa Valley, about haunted grapevines that terrorize a family. Even if that's some brilliant satire on how winemakers all think their vineyards are magical (it's not), that's still one of the most ridiculous things I've ever heard. Like, worse than Selma Blair and Paulie Walnuts remaking Nikita ridiculous. Can't wait to see what NBC comes up with tomorrow.

In an effort to reach the youth (I guess?), President Obama is letting Ryan Seacrest interview him on the radio tomorrow. That guy is way too nice.

ABC Family is turning the Nicole Kidman/Sandra Bullock movie Practical Magic into a show. Which is not a bad idea, especially for their brand, but how is it 2010 and no one's given us a Hocus Pocus TV series yet? I mean, damn.

And in really sad news, Ginny Sack from The Sopranos died. Heaven just got a little more of one of the best TV accents ever.

Was hoping with bated breath that the AMC lead-in was preceding news that they renewed Rubicon.

The Amanda Foreman thing drove me a little crazier than it should have. It's one thing if it's a bit part, the same actor playing a patient of the week on both shows a couple years apart, but we're talking about Crazy Katie Who Cut Violet Open and Stole Her Baby. It's not like we weren't going to notice.

Whatever happened to Crazy Katie anyway? Maybe she escaped prison or wherever she went and found an armless husband to annoy.
And I am really annoyed at ABC Family for constantly making awesome guilty pleasure shows and then canceling them. I'll probably watch the Practical Magic thing and get burnt again though. RIP 10 Things and Huge.

And I didn't even think of her as Crazy Katie, my mind instantly went to Marshall's wife.

Thanks for another informative website. Where else could I get that kind of info written in such an ideal way? I've a project that I'm just now working on, and I've been on the look out for such information.
