Are you ready for some highly choreographed football?!?!?!?"
In a shocking turn of events, the post-Super Bowl episode of Glee will revolve around the McKinley High football team. I know, right? The ridiculously expensive episode will feature a halftime performance of Michael Jackson's "Thriller"... but mashed up with another song. Of course. Because God forbid they play any one song all the way through. Our other options for the evening are Katy Perry and the Black-Eyed Peas, so hopefully they'll mash those two together and then cut them entirely when the game goes into overtime.
December's Saturday Night live hosts and guests sound like winners: December 4th sees Robert De Niro and P. Diddy's new group, Dec. 11 will have Paul Rudd and Paul McCartney, and Dec. 18th will give us Jeff Bridges and Eminem. No Daft Punk, to make it a night of Tron? Gyp.
Check out pictures from HBO's Game of Thrones series, featuring Sean Bean, Lena Headey and Peter Dinklage in medieval garb, if you're into that sort of thing.
Nigel Lythgoe has revealed big changes for American Idol, including music video challenges, awards-show performance challenges and the elimination of the semi-final round. Thank the lord.
In other Glee news, Harry Shum, Jr., a.k.a. Mike Chang, has been promoted to series regular. As long as he doesn't sing anymore, he can do whatever.
Two TV vets are about to come back in a big way: Pierce "Remington Steele" Brosnan may come back to TV as an international problem-solver and Raven-Symone will star in a pilot for ABC family. Why not put them in the same show? They can call it That's So Remington.
Angela Bassett will play New York's first lady top cop in ABC's One Police Plaza. We buy that a lot more than we do Jennifer Beals as a Chicago police chief in The Chicago Code.
Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert. Producing a new TV show. Also for Starz. About two female assassins. Based on the Japanese cartoon. If it's as awesome as their Spartacus series, we're in.
This game show host will appear on the Christmas episode of How I Met Your Mother. Who is Alex Trebek? Exactly.
LA Confidential author James Ellroy will get his own true-crime mini-series on Investigation Discovery, where he investigates notorious Hollywood crimes and tries to pin them all on Rollo Tomasi.
...Oh, and Medium was cancelled, but we kinda saw it coming.
