Skating with the Stars is tentatively being deemed an early ratings failure, having caused its huge lead-in audience to flee in droves once they discovered how unforgivably boring and lacking in artery-slashing it was.

Taylor Momsen will be put on "indefinite hiatus" from Gossip Girl after next Monday's episode, though the show is insisting they're not considering it a suspension. Call it whatever you want, guys, as long as you keep Jenny Humphrey out of my life. Now, can we finally work on getting Dan out of there too?

Cookie Monster would like to be on SNL. Watch his audition tape here, where he performs such characters as "Macarooner" (a MacGruber who has to save cookies from the microwave), and such musical guests as "Cookie Gaga" and her signature song "Cookie Face." Hey, I'd hire him.

I didn't catch it in time to put it in yesterday's news, but in case you missed it, Warner officially announced that they're rebooting Buffy in movie form, and that Joss Whedon is not involved. Obviously, he's not very happy about that. Freak out at will.
