Mmmmm... Trump roast.
Continuing its proud tradition of shooting fish in barrels, Comedy Central will roast Donald Trump. Rumor has it Trump was initially reluctant, until Comedy Central told him he could put his name on it.
The SAG Awards nominees were announced, and there is surprisingly little Sons of Anarchy, Big Bang Theory or Community, but surprisingly too much Hot in Cleveland. I guess the more guest stars you have, the better your chances of scoring a nom from them?
This news will likely affect only a small percentage of you, but here goes: Fox has cancelled The Good Guys and Syfy has cancelled Stargate: Universe. I know, I know, it's like losing a family member -- a family member you never visited, but occasionally heard funny stories about.
Buffy the Vampire Slayer fans who still watch How I Met Your Mother for their Alyson Hannigan fix, prepare for a Buffy overdose. Alexis Denisof will return as Sandy Rivers this season, and Danny Strong will guest-star. What, no James Marsters? Is he too busy guest-starring on several other TV series?
The Dallas remake is still moving ahead, but not with original star Larry "J.R." Hagman. Apparently he wanted too much money, although I can't imagine how many paychecks they thought the 80-year-old actor would cash. Instead, Hagman will appear on Desperate Housewives, which I can only hope will go bankrupt and halt production because of it.
Oxygen has greenlit a tattoo artist competition series, which should spawn a slew of unfortunate tattoo stories. "This one was supposed to be a dolphin, but the guy was running out of time on the clock, so he made it into a banana."
