Another slow television news day, but at least we have a cameo by everyone's favorite eyeliner-wearing '90s gay best friend (Wilson Cruz) on Grey's Anatomy to look forward to, plus a vampire gathering!

Long-time Rickie fans can rejoice, because My So-Called Life's Wilson Cruz will be gracing our TV screens in an upcoming episode of Grey's Anatomy. He will be playing a man about to get married when his partner gets seriously injured and is rushed to Seattle Grace Mercy West hospital. If Rayanne got to survive that overdose to go on and hook up with Angela's love Jordan Catalano, then the TV gods have to be just as rewarding to an actual good guy like Rickie by saving his partner (from an entirely different show and decade), right?

For those of you who ever wished Comic-Con focused solely on vampire television shows, today is your lucky day, because The Vampire Diaries will have its first North American convention in March called Eyecon. With appearances by Stefan Salvatore and Rob Pralgo confirmed so far, we can only imagine the hilariously awkward fan photos (think James Marsters biting people at Comic-Con) that will result from this.

Preview photos from an upcoming episode of How I Met Your Mother reveal Neil Patrick Harris channeling his inner Doogie Howser (except grown-up) when he will also play a fertility doctor (helping Marshall and Lily out) in addition to his separate Barney character. Judging by the show's attempt to make him look completely different with a brown wig and facial hair, we prefer the pre-puberty doctor look for him.

NBC Nightly News hosted by Brian Williams has continued to surpass ABC and CBS news with the most viewers for 2010's fourth quarter. I knew his cocky portrayal of himself on 30 Rock cameos was completely reasonable. BriWi: 1. Other news stations: 0.

In other ratings news, ESPN's Monday Night Football was the most-watched cable show of the year. And as a Giants fan, I think it's safe to say we can claim the most-watched disappointments of the year.

SOAPNet's season 3 premiere of Canadian show Being Erica is set for January 26th. So you can continue watching the original version before ABC's American remake of it inevitably ruins the concept of the show for you.

I was just wondering if there was another season of Being Erica on the horizon. Hooray for me!
