Ryan Seacrest is not wanted dead or alive.
All you Gleeks who are freaking out about the idea that Ryan Murphy suggested that current stars would eventually graduate from high school and he'd bring in some new blood to replace them, chill out. A) It's been working on Degrassi for years and B) Rachel Berry herself thinks she could just come back as a teacher. Given the standards for education at McKinley High, we could believe this.
In other Glee news, people are naming their children after characters from that show and Mad Men. I suppose now I should be grateful to the people who talked me out of calling my daughter Willow?
Aw, this is just depressing... if you are someone who works on this show, that is. While Life Unexpected hasn't been officially cancelled, the studio has already put a press release out saying that the complete series will arrive on DVD on April 5th. What's that noise I hear? Nails in the coffin?
Another new show that's not faring too well? Chase. NBC just cut the order from 22 to 18 episodes. Honestly, I'm surprised it even lasted that long.
Apparently celebrities overestimated how much their fans liked to read their tweets. So far the celebs who have "gone dead" on Twitter to raise money for World AIDS Day are still twitter-silent and not even close to their goal. Sad for the charity, but I can't imagine that not hearing from Seacrest would ruin my day. Maybe they'd have done better to be on Twitter encouraging people to donate?
