ABC Family is renewing both Pretty Little Liars and The Secret Life of the American Teenager. That's the way, ABC Family, always promoting healthy role models.

So You Think You Can Dance will be reuniting its most popular judges Mary Murphy and Nigel Lythgoe next season. Too bad Fox is making us sit though a whole Simon-less season of American Idol before SYTYCD comes back.

Fox also renewed Raising Hope for a second season today. Great. Totally makes up for the shows Fox already canned this season (Cue Lone Star ire).

Like many, I have been worried that Jersey Shore hasn't grown and matured with me since its first season. Luckily a new show, simply titled Guidos, is being shopped around to cable networks which promises all the hangovers and STDs that go along with a life devoted to getting the finest tan.

Fox has scheduled both dino-drama Terra Nova and a new sketch comedy show staring Jamie Foxx for previews at the end of the season right after its already established rating giants. Maybe all TV shows should only air one episode every 4 months?

While he is saving his writing credits this year for Doctor Who, Neil Gaiman will be making an appearance in an upcoming episode of The Simpsons. The only question is which Sandman character Comic Book Guy is going to be dressed as.
