It looks like one show will be hanging around longer than we expected, and we might have a trend developing in crime dramas.

For a show called The Closer, it certainly seems to be taking its time to go off the air. Kyra Sedgwick will stay on the show a little longer, allowing the show continue into 2012 while it is transitioning into a spin-off.

NBC has purchased pilots for two separate magical crime dramas. We already mentioned the show by Battlestar reboot creator Ron Moore titled 17th Precinct. The other crime drama, Grimm, is set in a world in which a certain set of myths turn out to be real. I hope NBC keeps up this theme for all of their dramas. Maybe they could have Dumbledore, P.I., Law & Order: The Shire, and Narnia: Life on the Streets.

Greg Grunberg, of Heroes and other shows, will be starring in a detective show on A&E. The show titled, Big Mike, will place Grunberg as a fat detective who is amazing at solving crimes and seems to get along with most everyone he meets. Obviously, this character has some dark secret that we haven't been told yet.

I think Spike might have just beaten out TLC for the most exploitative network today. The channel has ordered the reality game show Repo Games in which people about to have their cars repossessed must answer trivia questions to keep their vehicles.

While he let Morpheus take over the lab a while back, Gil Grissom will be making a cameo on CSI this week. And so marks our entrance into this year's February Sweeps.

Oh, and people in the UK are saying that it's because of Christina Hendricks (Mad Men's Joan) that breast implant rates are going up. Were large breasts not in before she brought them back?
