Nothing could upstage the Oscars except... Charlie Sheen's career suicide.

Here's a life lesson to take away from Charlie Sheen. Don't ever bite the hand that feeds you. After making anti-Semitic comments about the show's creator, Chuck Lorre, CBS has canceled Two and a Half Men for the rest of the season. Sheen won't even get paid for the episodes they haven't shot! Talk about "rock bottom."

Sheen is out of a job, but so many others have gained one. Bonnie Somerville has been cast as the female lead in ABC's comedy Other People's Kids. The hilarious Julie White will join the cast of another ABC comedy, Smothered, centering on a young couple "smothered" by their not-so-respective, outrageous parents. White won't be the only outrageous parent though. Vacation veteran Beverly D'Angelo has been cast in NBC's untitled Whitney Cummings comedy pilot as a self-absorbed, multi-divorced mother. Could we ask for anymore amazing talent to star on television?

You bet we can! First she wins a Tony award and now she wins a lead on FOX's I Hate My Teenage Daughter. Katie Finneran plays Nikki, a Mom raising a daughter who acts just like the bullies she faced in high school. Will Katie Finneran enchant us the way she recently did on Broadway with Sean Hayes in Promises, Promises? Chances are likely.

Did someone say Broadway? Christian Borle, one of Broadway's leading men, has been cast as Tom in Smash. He will star alongside talents such as Debra Messing, Megan Hilty, and American Idol starlet Katherine McPhee.

Sonny and Brenda's wedding won't be the only explosive surprise to hit Port Charles. James Franco returns to ABC's soap opera General Hospital. Franco has to be a descendant of Helena Cassadine. Evil knows no form except the Cassadines in Port Charles!

Chelsea Handler won't star in her own show, Are You There, Vodka? It's Me, Chelsea, but she will play her own sister. How is this going to work? How will Chelsea's comedy work with her being there and yet not? This might be a little too meta for me. Comedian Jo Koy joins the cast as well.

Is Kathy Griffin dating the Old Spice guy? Us Magazine reports Kathy is now an item with Isaiah Mustafa. Kudos to them -- anything is better than the Wizard of Woz, but this is probably another one of her desperate gags for publicity. Let's not lie.

Charlie">http://musingsandvisuals.blogspot.com/2011/02/charlie-sheen-high-on-lifeor-coke.html">Charlie Sheen is high on something alright needs to step back and look at reality. He has a spoiled life, still has a hit show after a number of years, when most shows would be falling off in ratings, but he is not happy. He better realize fans are going to get tired of his act.

Apparently, you can insult every group and get away with it, except 1 group, apparently. Still, CBS does have some balls, if they are willing to forgo the revenue this show brings...

Kyle, I think that sentence needed one more 'apparently.'
