Lot of releases for both the TV snobs and slobs out there.

Mad Men: Season Four
While not the show's best season, it certainly is better than the previous one. After gutting their old offices and Don finally divorcing Betty at the end of season 3, this season got to be sort of a reboot. Of course, we knew that however optimistic the ad makers were, times would be hard for Sterling Cooper Draper Pryce, and boy were they ever. Everyone, even Don, seems to be at their worst this season as their drinking, smoking, and womanizing seem to be catching up with them. And considering DVD sales are the only place this show really makes any money, you might want to pick this one up if you want to encourage AMC to keep churning them out.

Upstairs Downstairs: The Compete Series (40th Anniversary Collection)
This show is like the Lost of British TV. After it came on the air it inspired a whole subgenre of awful copycat period pieces that were about masters and their servants (excluding the wonderful Downton Abbey). The series has been shown on TV off and on for a while, but this is the first time in ages that we we'll get to find out just how well it holds up.

Treme: The Compete First Season
After The Wire ended, David Simon had quite a bit to live up to, and with Treme he blew us away. Set in New Orleans as residents are still rebuilding their lives after Katrina, the show gives us a look into just what exactly that idea of rebuilding actually means.

In Plain Sight: Season 3
More focus was put on the actual cases this season and less on Mary Shannon's life, but as far as USA shows go, it could be much worse. This season was also cut short, causing the last episode to end in a cliffhanger (sort-of) so you will probably want to catch up before the next season premieres in May.

Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman: Complete Series One, Two, and Three
No longer must we be slaves to the people at the Hallmark Channel in order to get our mid-'90s Jane Seymour fix!

Also out this week: Dennis the Menace: Season 1, Everybody Loves Raymond: Seasons 8 & 9, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys: Season 2, Xena Warrior Princess: Season 2, Rocky & Bullwinkle & Friends: Complete 5th Season, Highway to Heaven: Season 1, Here's Lucy: Season 4, The Civil War: Commemorative Edition, The Alan Bennett Collection and Happiness Is a Warm Blanket, Charlie Brown.
