Having come to terms with the basic fact that the only people who watch the evening news any more are people who can't use the Internet and hipsters who love Brian Williams, Katie Couric has decided to leave the CBS Evening News in search of the greener pastures of daytime TV. There is nothing solid about who will be replacing her yet, but considering CBS's desire to get Charlie Sheen back on the air, maybe he could take over for Couric.

A new series titled Port Royal is being developed by the producers of The Walking Dead. While it hasn't found a home yet, this show already has the potential to fill that Pirate Master-shaped hole in our hearts.

Charlie Sheen's Violent Torpedoes of Truth Tour had a rocky start in Detroit ending with him getting booed off the stage. However, last night's Chicago show was, apparently, markedly better. At this rate, by the time he gets to the last city the tour might be as good as an episode of Two and a Half Men.
